Writers retreats

Our retreats are typically 3, 5 or 7 days. 

We prefer small groups of 5-8 people, and we have several options for the content and focus areas. 

All our retreats include a full board with breakfast, lunch and dinner, vegan options available. We prioritize locally grown and produced food, and support a healthy lifestyle.

In all retreats there will be plenty of time for reflection and writing, and some groups seek exploration and inspiration by activities in the nature, while others seek inspiration by quietness and calmness.

We are located close by the trainstation in Egersund, and one hour from the international airport of Stavanger. Each group will have options on which service level you want to have.

• Car rental versus private driver

• Guided tours versus explore on your own

This retreat includes several short and longer trips in the nature, such as:

• Day trip to the Preikestolen-area, and the spectacular Preikestolen, the cliff dropping off 600 meters to the Lysefjord

• Half day trip in a geological very interesting fjord-landscape, with hidden houses and picnic's inside mountain halls. 

As the title suggest - this is the retreat for you who wants to get started - or maybe re-started - in your writing process. Less active program, 

• Yoga on the beach

• Church visit, in a 400 years old church

• Sunset walks 

• Daytrip to a lighthouse on a private island

This is for groups wanting to dive deeper in a specific topic.

• My story needs to be told - professional publisher or self published book? 

• The art of marketing and the business of writing - and everything that comes on top of the book (how to get paid for speaking about your book, how to get on the radio etc.)

• Book covers and setup - designing what people wants to read

We have a large network of experienced writers in many genres, self publishers, international bestsellers, photographers, publishers and book marketing people.
